Hi, I’m Cory.
I live in Ann Arbor, MI (USA). I’m originally from Traverse City, but have moved to Ann Arbor to study at the University of Michigan. I’m specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (which isn’t the same as studying brain-computer interfaces though they sound very similar).
In a nutshell, I want to make technology easier for people to use. While I am pretty tech savvy, the focus is on people and meeting their needs. I figure this is a good extension of my background in psychology, while allowing me to continue my passion of making cool web applications (and soon, cool mobile apps).
I’ve got a few projects in the works, but due to school, I don’t have much time to work on them.
I started this blog because I wanted a place to write about procrastination, minimalism, and productivity. These things are appealing to me because I have Attention Deficit Disorder, and because I procrastinate more than most people you know. I’m working on it, and doing my best to document the process.
While you’re reading, keep in mind the blog is experimental so I may write on stuff that seems completely off the wall once in a while. Rest assured I’ll come to my senses the following week and post something boring and sensible.
Enjoy!
~Cory
