Hi Isreal,

What topics are you interested in? You might enjoy GTD Times, 43 Folders, or Study Hacks if you're looking for productivity-related stuff.

Button alignment on forms are a bit different from dialog boxes. It depends on the form layout and the type of form you're using.

I have a couple of articles that talk about button alignment on forms:
http://uxmovement.com/forms/how-form-button-alignment-depends-on-the-layout/

http://uxmovement.com/forms/the-best-way-to-align-buttons-on-different-forms/

Hope this clears up the confusion. :)

I like the way that ING does business, but their business model is 180 degrees out from Capital One's. I've been through bank mergers before, and in every one of them the purchasing bank's culture wins out. I feel confident that what ING is now won't be what ING is by this time next year.

The biggest reason most of us moved to ING was the rates they offered, which were at one time spectacular. That overcame the negative of not having a branch handy when you needed one and not being able to make deposits at ATMs. The rates outweighed the inconveniences.

ING's rates have since dropped dramatically on both checking and savings, while the overdraft line rate (which I haven't ever used - I'm neurotic about my money as well) has steadily climbed up. It's almost 8% now, against checking rates of 0.25% and savings of 1%. I can get those rates at brick and mortar banks like PNC and actually have a branch to go to when I need it.

I guess folks can either stick it out waiting to see what happens or sign up now and take a chance on ING not changing. Between their being bought by a bank I detest, and their rates becoming nothing special, the negatives just outweigh the positives for me now, so I switched. I have to say that, so far anyway, I love PNC.

@Darren: Keep in mind this post was written in February, which was several months before ING Direct was purchased by Capital One. I would be a little more hesitant about recommending them now, but at the same time they are still a great company that hasn't (yet?) been corrupted by their big bank owners.
